Membership and giving

Stripe Checkout collects your payment details and a real email address, then opens in a new tab. One-time giving does not require a Buildy account. Recurring sustaining memberships use the coalition’s secure sign-in flow.
For one-time payments, Stripe may show card brands, Link, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal when enabled in Stripe and eligible for the customer’s country and device. Sustaining memberships use recurring-compatible payment methods.

What does Community Membership include?
Community Members pay $25 once each year and receive the coalition newsletter, invitations to Zoom and occasional in-person meetings, and opportunities for collective activism.
Can I give any amount?
Yes. Choose the any-amount donation option, enter an amount from $1 to $10,000, and continue to secure Stripe Checkout.
How do recurring memberships work?
Sustaining Membership is available at $10 per month or $100 per year. Recurring checkout requires the platform-managed sign-in flow so you can manage the membership later through Stripe’s member portal.
Are contributions or dues tax-deductible?
No. Truth and Democracy Coalition is not incorporated, so contributions and membership dues are not tax-deductible.
Where do I complete the payment?
Each choice opens Stripe Checkout in a new tab. Your payment is not treated as complete until the coalition verifies the Stripe session.
